DOSA SANDWICH

updated with corriander chutney filling.

Actual recipe was taught to me by one of our neighbour in chennai, saradha aunty. she is a very nice cook.she once told me that instead of having plain sandwich dipping it in dosa batter tastes different. It was something similar to french toast.
This time i tried it little different with dosa inside....why don't you all try and let me know if you guys liked this.
INGREDIENTS:
Dosa batter
Bread
Tomato sauce(optional)
Peas dosa batter/Paruppu dosa batter or veggi patties(optional) or any chutney.
Chilli powder and garam masala powder-to taste(optional)
METHOD:
1)Make square dosa(thick) with peas/parrupu batter.
2)Toast bread and apply sauce on one of the bread.
3)Place the dosa in between them and press well.
4)Mix the dosa(ordinary dosa) batter with little chilli and garam masala powder and mix well.(Aunty did not tell any of these.Thought this might add more flavour to dosa dough)
5)Dip the sandwich in dosa dough and place it on dosa tava ,apply oil on sides and roast(just like cutlet).
6)When one side is done apply little oil and roast the other side.
SERVE WITH KETCHUP OR GREEN CHUTNEY.
And i forgot to mention this ...just one dosa sandwich is so filling.

This sandwich is on its way to sindhura's sandwich event
