We normally do kootu along with karakzhambu or puli kuzhambu.Kootu can be done with all the vegetables. I specially like Pudalangai(snake gaurd) kootu.
INGREDIENTS:
Zuchhini-1 big
Coconut-1 tsp for grinding
Jeera-1/2(for seasoning)1/2 tsp for grinding
Red chilli or green chilli-2 (grind) 1 for seasoning
Mustard-1/2 tsp
Tur dhal-1 1/2 cup
Salt-taste
METHOD:
1)Heat oil add mustard ,jeera 1/2 tsp,curry leaves,red chilli.
2)Grind red chilli,jeera and coconut to paste.
3)Add chopped zuchhini and saute.(we can also use other boiled vegetables instead of zuchhini)
4)Add cooked tur dhal and boil till zuchhini is cooked.
5)Add ground paste and cook for few minutes.
