CARROT-PERKANKAI CHUTNEY





Chutney.. my grandfather used to say 'chutney 'got its name because its (chattunu )quick to make :) I love trying out new chutney and thogayal. My husband loves thogayal and chutney.. but he dosent know the differnce hahaha... he says every thing as thogayal.


As i didnt have enough of carrot or perkankai(Ridge gaurd)skin(usually perkankai skin is used to make chutney) to make carrot or perkankai chutney i combained both and tried ..my husband couldnt find out it had carrot in it(for some reason he doesnt like carrot :))



INGREDIENTS:


Perkankai(ridge gaurd)chopped

carrot(grated)

Red chilli-to taste

salt-to taste

Tamarind-little(pea size)

urad dhal
