This is yet another recipe which my Amma does using ridge gourd,which I love eating mixed with rice and combo with it was papad.Recently I found it was also tasting yummy as dip for veggie chips that we had bought.
INGREDIENTS : ( adjust measurements according to ur taste)
Ridge gourd - 1 medium
Green chilli - 1
Moong dhal - 1 tbs
Salt -to taste
Oil,Curry leaf,mustard,urad dhal for seasoning.
1) Wash peel and chop ridge gourd.
2) Heat a pan add cgopped ridge gourd and green chilli and cook in medium flame closed.( it will cook in the water content in ridge gourd.but do open and check often)
3) Cool and add salt and grind.(don't add water until you feel you need it)
4) Heat oil in a pan and add seasoning and add this to the ground paste. This is not required if using this a a dip for chips.
Enjoy this with rice :)
