MANGO LASSI

Yippee! its summer... thinking of summer next thing that comes to my mind ... Mango! yes..any Indian cannot forget mangoes in summer..Specially if you are from Tamil nadu...you cannot forget Salem malgowa mampazham(mango)

Mango has lot of nutrients .The fruit pulp is high in prebiotic dietary fiber, vitamin C, A ,K  and B vitamines.
May be that's why its one among 3 royal fruits(mukkani-Ma, Pala,Vazhai) in tamilnadu.It's also national fruit of India,Pakistan and Philippines.
There is also a story about  Lord Muraga and Ganesh Fighting for this very tasty and nutritious fruit :)
Any way mango either as ripe or unripe is tasty and lots of dishes like Mango pickle, pachadi,rice,milkshake,jam...i can keep on adding...are made using this amazingly tasty fruit.
So here is another dish made with mango, very famous in Chennai...Lassi..mango lassi...
INGREDIENTS:
Sweet Ripe mango
Fresh Curds/yogurt(it should not be sour)
Sugar or Agave(optional)
Water
METHOD:
1)Deseed Mango.
2)Put everything in blender and blend well.
3)Serve chill.
