NUT CUTLET

This is another favorite snack item ,which i learnt from chellam aunty.Its my favorite because there is no potatoes in this....Its not that i hate potatoes but i try to avoid it as much as possible.Nuts are good source of vitamin E, protein etc , Most of the nuts are excellent in good fats and good for health when eaten in moderation. But i wouldn't call this that healthy one as the fat in the nuts become negative fat when they are cooked.
But hey..... Its different and tasty item.. we can offered to eat such tasty one once in a while.
INGREDIENTS:

Nuts(walnut/ cashew/groundnut/ any nuts)-1/4 cup (approximately)
Maida-1 cup
Butter-3 tbs
Green chilli-3(according to taste)
Onion-1 small
Bread crumbs- to coat
Salt - to taste
Pepper powder- to taste
Bread slice-2
Milk- 1/2 cup

METHOD:
1)Chop nuts finely.
2)Chop onion and green chillies.
3)Prepare white sauce
4)White sauce: heat a pan melt butter ,add flour, fry well till the raw smell goes.
5)Add milk and cook till the consistency thickens like halwa(leaves the sides of pan).
6)Add salt, pepper,onion and green chilli to this white sauce.remove from fire.
7)Soak bread slice in water and squeeze the water and mix it with the above mixture.
8)Shape as desired and coat with bread crumbs and fry in oil.Serve with sauce.
