DRY FRUITS BURFI

This is a very healthy and easy to make sweet.Actually its not hard like burfi or very soft like halwa. But tasty and very very healthy... with dry fruits and no sugar, honey or no cooking :)

Though drying process destroys most of Vitamin C yet they are rich in vitamins like A,B1,B2,B3,B6 etc along with dietary minerals.

INGREDIENTS:
Badam
Pista
Dates
Cranberry
Fig
Pine seed
(any dry fruit,nuts and seeds)

METHOD:
1)Powder the nuts(badam, pista) coarsely.
2)Grind dates,fig and cranberry coarsely.
3)Mix the seeds ,nuts and dates mixture.
4)Press them on a greased or non stick plate and cut them into small pieces. or small balls .

According to siddha medicine taking this along with milk is supposed to be good for health. But since commercially prepared dried fruit may contain added sulfur dioxide it may trigger asthma for some people.
