This is a creamy dessert or we can say pudding that is famouse in India.Its also known as pal payasam or arisi payasam in Tamil nadu.Some of them dont powdered rice. And some use rice flour.
Here the is recipe.
Raw rice- 4 tbs
Sugar-1/4 cup(to taste. I used brown sugar)
Almond-about 12-14(soaked and skin removed)
Milk-about 2 cups
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
1)Pressure cook rice with 1/4 cup milk.
2)When cool mash and milk with rest of the milk.
3)Grind almond to paste using little milk.
4) Mix it with rice. Add saffron cardamom and sugar.cook in mediun flame till creamy and thick.(stir the mixture once in a while .
5) Remove from fire.cool.
6)Garnish with chopped nuts and serve chill.
