MASALA VADAI

Everybody loves masala vadai.. ..specially the road side... the aroma that comes from these roadside shops will tempt anyone to try that.I know... i know... everyone knows to make masala vadai... but not many know the ones like the road side.... that smell and crunchy taste....UMMMM... the secret behind this was told by a person who makes these vadai and sells them....ok.... no more dragging... the secret is... split yellow pea(pattani kadalai). He told me that they use this dhal as it is much cheaper than channa dhal in tamilnadu. But as far as i know this causes more gastric problem than channa dhal.I know this isn't very healthy but once in a while we can afford to have couple of them right???
