'Tagara' Pakoda name sounds different...but the taste isn't different.This was a recipe told by my sil,shashi. She said her kids liked it very much...as her kids are very picky it should have been nice right?So I tried it immediately.Here is the recipe which she told me.Since she didn't tell me the amount of green chilli I added only 4.Guess i should have added more chillies.
INGREDIENTS:
Rice flour-2 cup
Maida-1/2 cup
Greenchilli -grind to paste
Curry leaves -chopped
Salt -to taste
Butter/oil- 1 tbs
Water -to mix
Oil- to fry
METHOD:
1. Mix rice flour and maida .
2.Grind chilli to paste and mix with the flour.
3.Add finely chopped curry leaves.
4.Add butter and salt and make a soft dough using water.
5. Roll as thin chapthi(apply maida generously or the chapathi will stick to the board and belan.) and cut into thin strips.
6.Heat oil and fry the strips till golden brown.
