This is another version of my onion pakodas,which is favorite among my friends and family. Actually last week i ran out of onion and i remembered one of my friends talking about cabbage pakoras . But what she told was very different . Since that wasn't crispy i tried the same recipe as my onion pakodas substituting it with cabbage and garlic(as i feel cabbage causes gas i added 2 garlic crushed).
INGREDIENTS:
Cabbage- 1 cup grated

Garlic crushed(opt)-2
Roasted bengal gram(pottuladalai, dhalia)-1/4 cup powdered
Rice flour-1/2 cup
Besan-3/4 cup
Soda bi carb-1 pinch
Salt -to taste
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala powder(opt)-1/2tsp
Oil- to fry.

1) Slice(grate) cabbage thin.Crush garlic.

2)Mix roasted bengal gram,rice flour,besan, salt ,chilli powder , garam masala soda bi carb.
3) Add grated cabbage and garlic and mix well to the powder.
4)Add 1 tbs of hot oil to the above mixture.We will be needing little water for mixing this pakora.Mix well.
5) Fry in hot oil till golden brown.Serve with sauce .
Note: Do not use water to o much water mix ,as pakoda will not stay crisp for long.
