Mushrooms have always fascinated me...It looks so cute ,like nature made umbrella for tiny creatures.Love to see these shoot up on the ground after rain. There is a saying in Tamil 'netru peidha mazhai illa indru mulaitha kaalan' meaning like mushroom that shows after rain.(English expression 'pop up like mushroom')
But actually it doesn't show up all of a sudden. It takes several days to grow and show up..just like the disease which we have...
Anyways.. They say its healthy one ,a low calorie food , rich in B vitamins, minerals like potassium and copper and low in carbohydrate.I also read that mushroom extracts are used as medicine to prevent tumor growth.. that's interesting news uh!!??
