PEANUT COOKIES

Some like having a nice crispy, spicy snack during rain, while others like sweets when they are depressed, some like tangy ones ... so everyone will have this craving atleast once in their lifetime.so did I last week...for no reason I felt like eating cookies..I am not a big fan of cookies though.. anyways..its just something inside was asking for this...

I did my baking class long ago with chellam aunty(menu rani chellam)she has taught me different varieties of cookies both with and without egg .I used to make medicinal cookies too..like aswaghanda(indian gensing root)cookies .But after my mom died I stopped all these.I did sweet potato biscuit and digestive cookies couple of times after coming here I didn't have the feel for doing cookies....and finally this sudden craving made me to try this cookie.
But... i didn't have Maida/ self raising flour... i had to use Whole wheat atta (to tell the truth i have become a health freak these days) so tried this one with what aunty taught me as a guide.
This may not taste like cookies made of maida as wheat has different taste and also because of wheat bran that i used..(told you i have become a health freak :D)
To say about wheat bran...it is good source of dietary fiber ,which helps to reduce problems like constipation, diabetes, obesity,High BP,cholesterol etc.
