This is one of my very fav dish which i learnt from Chellam Aunty(Menu rani).very tasty and health too.All u need is very little amount of veg and dhal but final quantity will be more.very easy to make except for cutting all the greens and veg.I was told that this is a Afghan dish.INGREDIENTS:Toor dhal-1/4cup
Mocha white dhal-1/4cup
Yellow pumpkin -1 small
Onion -1/4 kg
palak 1 bunch
METHOD:1)Wash and cut veg, chop greens and pressure cook them with dhal.
2)Chop onions finely.
3)Heat oil ,season with jeera and saute onions and ground paste till brown,
4)Add dry masala and tomatoes along with salt and saute
5)Add veg and dhal mixture and cook till it boils.
Serve with chapathi ,naan ,dosa.
NOTE: Any dhal or green or veggi can be used. Recently i used celery, zucchini and kovakai too.It tastes very nice the next day too.
